The Canadian Journal of Police & Security Services invites submissions for a special issue on Advances in Forensic Science. CJPSS is a peer-reviewed forum focused on providing police officers, professional security officers, corrections/prison officers, management personnel and researchers with the highest level of integrated learning opportunities. The journal publishes original empirical research, reviews of research programs, and other scientific papers that will be of timely interest to its readers. Although a Canadian-based journal, papers will be considered from international and interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners.
For the current special issue on Forensic Science, we are seeking original empirical research articles and reviews of relevant programs of research, particularly those that are focused toward direct application in policing. Research articles and reviews may range from 25-30 pages, including references. Short reviews of published articles, published books of scholarly and/or practical importance, or recent judicial opinions are also encouraged (1000 words or less). [...] The deadline for submissions for the special issue is November 15, 2004.
